The Hokonui Fashion Awards is a competition annually held in Gore, Dunedin. Designers of all different levels are able to enter, with the judges choosing a selection to compete on the night.
The competition has been running for 30 years and attracts entries and interest from all around New Zealand. Over the previous years the judging panel has included Karen Walker, Nic Blanchet, Francis Hooper, Trelise Cooper, Kate Sylvester, Liz Findlay, Doris Du Pont and Margi Robertson (of NOM*d).
